Your last mission was a failure. The Sin-Eater Station is online. Its sole purpose - to devour all matter in the universe. Time is short. This universe is already doomed.

As the captain of a battered starship, you are life’s final hope. Your mission: traverse hostile sectors, salvage vital biodata from doomed colonies, and deliver it to the Genesis Loom in a desperate bid to seed a parallel universe with the building blocks of life.

The Sin Eater is a micro solo tabletop RPG that combines strategic planning, exploration, and tense encounters. Each turn, you’ll allocate limited power to your ship’s systems—deciding whether to strengthen shields, enhance weapon accuracy, scan for threats, or repair critical damage. Every choice matters, as your fragile ship is constantly pushed to its limits by dangerous anomalies, rogue ships, and cosmic hazards.

Navigate a procedurally generated map of hostile sectors where each encounter is unique. Will you scavenge wreckage for resources, fend off attackers, or risk uncharted space in search of biodata? Combat is fast and brutal, with dice rolls deciding both your survival and the fate of your mission.

With minimal setup and maximum tension, The Sin Eater delivers a gripping journey through a dying universe. The clock is ticking. Can you outmanoeuvre catastrophe and give life one final chance? Or will the void consume everything?

Great game! Concise and yet engaging. I also love the balance of hope and doom in the theme of "no hope for us but life might get a second chance somewhere else".

I played 4 times so far, and failed to save the universe in all of them 😅

I do have some questions about the rules:

1) Do I need to scan and resolve the starting point (sector 1)?

2) If a space-port and a colony are in the same sector, can I choose which one to resolve first? Or is there an order?

2) When I gain a Power Point, can I alocate it right away or do I have to wait for the next Set Power phase?

Hey, thanks so much for the feedback... Answers to your questions:

1) no nothing happens in sector 1, so just scan the sectors around in the first turn

2) I would do the space port first.

3) allocate it immediately :)

Hope this helps... Thanks again for reaching out :)

Thanks for the clarifications :)

I played this game on my stream. I hope it is ok to share the link here:
